Kwara Gov Condemns Eruku Attack, Seeks Additional Security Deployment

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has strongly condemned the recent attack in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area, and is seeking additional security deployment to the region.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, AbdulRazaq requested immediate deployment of more security operatives to support the existing security architecture in the area. He sympathized with the people of Eruku and environs, especially families and the Christ Apostolic Church directly impacted by the attack.

The Governor also commended President Bola Tinubu for deploying 900 additional troops to Kwara State, saying it will strengthen security and provide further deterrence. He assured that the state government will continue to support security agencies to tackle challenges and ensure safety of lives and properties across the state.

AbdulRazaq's request for additional security deployment is aimed at curtailing the new wave of attacks in the area and restoring peace to the community.
