Governor Fubara Vows to Revive Rivers State's Industrial Glory

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed his determination to restore the state's industrial prowess, declaring that the ongoing Economic and Investment Summit will catapult Rivers State to the forefront of investment destinations. Speaking at the summit, themed "Rivers Emerged: Pioneering Pathways to Economic Growth and Sustainability," Governor Fubara emphasized his administration's commitment to creating a secure business environment, showcasing the state's diverse investment opportunities in sectors like oil and gas, agriculture, tourism, and education.

With a vision to re-industrialize Rivers State, Governor Fubara acknowledged the state's rich history as a commercial hub, citing the once-thriving Trans-Amadi Industrial Layout, which hosted numerous industrial ventures that generated income, jobs, and prosperity. He lamented the decline of these industries, resulting in the loss of the state's industrialized status.

Undeterred, Governor Fubara pledged to collaborate with the public and private sectors to revive the state's industrial glory, confident that the summit will position Rivers State as a premier investment destination, offering boundless economic opportunities for local and international investors.

"We are committed to rebuilding a resilient, robust, and diversified economy, crucial for sustainable peace, security, and progress," Governor Fubara declared. "I am optimistic that Rivers State will emerge from this summit as a leading investment hub, offering rich opportunities for all."
